The American Cancer Society of Central New Jersey celebrated its 27th Annual “A Night of Wine & Roses~La Dolce Vita” Gala on Friday, May 3, 2013. The event took place at The Palace at Somerset Park, Somerset, NJ with over 350 guests in attendance to show their support.
This year’s Gala honored Christine Sherwood and Kathy Kady-Hopkins of ASL Interpreter Referral Service, Inc., The AIMS Clinic of East Brunswick and Susan Bender Klein. A sign language interpreter and captioning (CART) was provided for people with hearing loss. This was a first for Wine & Roses and we look forward to having this every year.
The event was a huge successes raising over $160,000 for the American Cancer Society. This is a 23% increase from 2012!
