ASL Interpreter Referral Service, Inc. (ASLIRS) was a proud sponsor of BH Sky Associates’ 6th Annual Cocktail Reception during the NJ State League of Municipalities (NJLM) conference on November 19, 2014. The reception, which was the most successful to date, is an opportunity for NJ businesses and state and local decision makers to network and get to know one another.
The NJ State League of Municipalities conference was held from November 18-20, 2014 in Atlantic City, NJ. The annual NJLM Conference was created to help communities do a better job of self-government through pooling of information resources. It is the biggest conference of its kind in the state.
ASLIRS was an exhibitor at the conference. Kathy Kady Hopkins, President and co-owner of ASLIRS, and Genny Trill, National Account Manager, manned the exhibit booth. They provided conference participants with information and education about the need for sign language interpreting and CART services for people with hearing loss at the municipal, local, and state levels.
